Well well well... almost forgot about this place.

... and I probably will again soon enough. I really just don't do anything very interesting.

Except draw loli porn... I NEVER expected I would ever stoop so low as lolicon... but Klan Klan is actually supposed to be a full grown woman... a full sized Zentradi woman, that when micronised, she ends up looking (and acting oddly) like a child.

Characters are Michel/Mihkail and Klan Klan from Macross Frontier.

I plan on changing a few things...but I need to get back into the swing of using photoshop, and since I've updated to CS2, rather than the old 7.0 I was used to, it might take a bit. But I really need to start drawing a lot more to prepare for Otakon. I was hoping to at least have 4 or 5 pieces done for this year already... but currently I haven't done a single one.

Time to go go go!

Super Robot Wars W has rekindled the smoldering ashes of my artistic mind, and recently I have begun trying to get back into the groove by doing some fanart.

Also, after reading some of the translated plot, it just boggles my mind how good these guys are at combining so many series together, into one coherant plot. It's simply amazing. And considering the game consists mostly of series I like... or now want to watch... it's a total mark in the win colum for me. Plus, the GaoGaiGar sprites and attacks look a lot better than the sprites from SRW Aplha 3rd... a PS2 game.

That and the original is also pretty bad ass. Well ok, not the FINAL version of it, but the first upgrade, Valguard, is just SO badass. Already at 2L for size... meaning Valcazard, the addition to it... has to be the biggest mecha of ALL TIME.

Super Robot Wars W is awesome. That's all I have to say about that. ( Any game with GaoGaiGar, merges Tekkaman Blade 1 and 2 into one awesome plot, KEEPS Gai Daigoji for Prince of Darkness, AND has Bonta-kun... HAS to be a good game. Nay, a GREAT game. I can see why they have been so popular in Japan... if I could read the story, I would love them even more.

On a side note, any artwork I do will be posted on my Deviant Art account... mainly because I don't update this much... nor do people really watch it. At least I have quite a few people watching my DA account. But I will post one of the more recent pics I have done here, as a bit of a "teaser". Only have so much space on here and all that.

Here's "GoGaiGar"

The four "limbs" of GoLion/Voltron merge with a different core robot. This time, the mechanical lion Galeon, who is fused with Cyborg Guy who are from GaoGaiGar. The "other half" is up at my DA account.

http://guyverc.deviantart.com

Save money? There's a concept I cannot grasp...

I've really been trying... but I just can't seem to save money very well.

That's because I really am a consumer whore... and want to buy thing from shows that I see, or new games that are coming out.

http://www.youtube.com/v/_1bk8cZPaT8

I just purchased this, Super Robot Taisen W ( or Super Robot Wars W) for the Nintendo DS.

Why? Because of the many different series in it that are favorites of mine, I HAD to own it ( plus the lack of a good Nintendo DS emulator available to download).

It just never ends, really...

Now I have decided to keep watching the new Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Den-O. Which originally I didn't know if I would lke, since it was so different from the way Kamen Rider Kabuto was handled. But it is entertaining in it's own right.

http://www.youtube.com/v/GJDumCn3pnE

That being said, I now want to buy the DX Den-O belt, and his weapon, the Dengasher... just more money to spend really. I've held off on this one for a bit ( I easily could buy it now), but I don't know how long that will last.

Sickness gone... strength returning... slowly

Holy crap, it feels good to not be sick.

Kind of a redundant thing to say I know, but it's true.

For the last month, I'd had a back-to-back mixture of minor flu/colds that completely drained me of any creative energy that I once had. It's seemed like forever to me, but it's finally gone.

And it seems, it was a good thing, because I am back to drawing again. But I contribute it to a number of factors.

1. Anime and Video games are begining to suck. Seriously, there is so much crap out there right now, I am watching and playing less and less of both. It's been giving me a lot more free time to do more thinking, and planning.

2. Super Robot Anime. Holy fuck. If you want to bring some excitement back into your life, watch nothing but. I've been rewatching a bunch of older series I own, and am reminded were I need to be.

3. I'm almost 26 ( In April), and haven't done JACK ALL. Getting old starts to put things into perspective, that's for sure. And unfortunately, collecting the figures I do, isn't much of a career.

My current plan, at least, is to try and get my skills back to where they once were, if not surpass my old self from a few years ago. It's going to be a slow process until I can begin to start sketching regularily like I used to ( one small thing a night like I am doing now, is not suffienct). I need to turn this lazy sitting around crap, back into the drawing time that I once did.

I find myself constantly looking back, and thinking " If only I would have kept up with it..." and really, sometimes it works in my favor... and sometimes not. I just gotta put the past behind me, and start working towards the future.

Unless of course someone invents a time machine that I could use...

On a side note, Super Robot fans... Nay, EVERYBODY needs to check out Atomic King Daidogan. It is the greatest non Japanese Super Robot manga of all time. The amount of pure awesomeness in it, cannot be measured.

No pic this time... but I promise something worthy next time!

... and not such a long wait for a new entry!

Work work work... and Mecha-H
Wow... I thought I'd use this more than I have. But then with the holidays, work has just been crazy, and it really has drained me for the last 2 weeks or so.

Anywho, been pretty quiet around here.

I'm really begining to hate some of the people in FFXI though... these elitist bastards who think you don't know how to play, just because you've never been to a certain area before. Ugh... get over yourselves.

Anywho, was talking with Ratbat over AIM last night, and did another Mecha-H pic.

Lancelot from Code Geass.

Still sketchy right now... but will fix it later.

She asked me a few weeks ago, why I like this kind of work of hers. And you know, it's not because of "OMG BOOBIES" ect... But a long time ago, she explained to me the complexities behind her ideas and her pics. The one thing that they have, is emotion. Unlike random H crap that floats around the net in tons of Doujins or H-Games, it isn't just about nudity or the sex.

Which is why I feel a certain... ease, when I draw it as well. I'm not just being a super pervert drawing a mecha raping a woman. No, it's drawing two lovers who need each other so much, that if they were seperated for too long, they will literally die.

It's all about the passion folks. And that is where 90... no about 99% of "professional" Doujin artist fail. The good stuff is getting harder and harder to find these days, and it is sad.

Ok, so usually, I bring my Laptop to work to watch DVDs, or play games. Midnight security work is so fun ^_^

Anywho, the last two days, being deathly cold, I didn't want to have to lug it around (for a laptop, it is pretty hefty). So instead, I brought my little shoulder strap bag, with my sketchbook.

The first day, did I draw anything? Hell no. Fucking snow making it a busy day.

Last night however, I did get to doodle a few things. Getting back into the groove of things wasn't as difficult as I thought... I just got to get back some inspiration.

Maybe losing my tablet pen was a good thing.

For now...

Now if I could just get drawing mechs again, I'll be set.

The Guyver Gigantic.
-42 degrees Windchill + me having to walk to work at 11:30 PM = One very frozen me

Sometimes I hate working midnights... but then I realise that it was this cold all day, so it doesn't matter what the hell time it is. I'm going to freeze my ass off anyway.

And yet... hope is on the horizon.

God bless warm Chinook winds. It's like a short lived spring, happening 3 months in advance.

I went and bought 3 Macross figures this weekend, off of a guy I know. 2 Yamato 1/60 Valkyries from DYRL ( VF-1A ver Max and VF-1S ver Roy), and the Yamato 1/72 YF-19 "Alpha One" figure ( anime version). And while I am dissapointed that the DYRL Valkyries are not 100% transformable, and reqire actual removing of parts... all the modes look so godly, it kinda makes up for it.

The YF-19 figure, being my favorite Valkyrie of all time ( so I am definatly bias), is awesome... not as awesome as the upcoming 1/60 version... but I plan on buying that one too ^_^

So last night, I was eating some chips at work, when I felt something jam up into my gums beside one of my teeth. Now, I have known shards of chips to do that in the past... but this one felt a little deep. So after feeling around a bit, it turns out it wasn;t a chip at all.

My tooth split.

Not right in half, because that would be impossible with the filling that I have in it. The sliver that has split seems to be only like the other side, is like 1/6 of the width of the actual tooth. The only problem is, it just doesn't want to come out on it's own.

One dentist visit, coming right up.

Time for a random pchat doodle!

I really need to seriously start drawing again.
